Hey friend,

I know many of you are wanting to start a tutoring business, which is awesome! It can be such a great way to meet your income goals from the comfort of your own home.

I took 5 years off my tutoring business, then reopened it last October. I got my first client almost immediately, and I think I came into their lives at just the right time. Within a few months, their situation had improved, and my services were no longer necessary. During this time, I also had some bad-fit clients, and let's just say... it was a bit traumatic.

Refreshing my math knowledge after a 5-year break was TOUGH! Adjusting to the habit of working with kids, communicating with parents & teachers, plus lesson planning was a lot. I have so much respect for those of you who dedicate your time and energy to teaching and/or tutoring. But I realized that this is not the right time for me to get back into it, so I stopped.

Since then, I've been making money through digital product sales in the Happy Online Business Shop, affiliate marketing, youtube ad revenue, etc. Those are the main sources now.

And this feels a lot more sustainable and manageable for my current lifestyle.

Hit reply and let me know, what income stream are you focused on in your business?

Best,

Sonia

Hey friend! I recently decided to test out Kajabi for my own business. Even though I've heard about it for years, I always considered it too expensive. (In case you're unfamiliar with it, Kajabi is an all-in-one platform for running an online business.) This time, I'm taking a different approach. I'm challenging myself to earn $900 in revenue in my first full 3 months of using Kajabi! This would validate that I can create a profitable business using Kajabi! For my next program, I thought it...

Hey friend! I'm super excited to share that the team over at Toddlers Can Read is hosting a 20% off Mother's Day Sale! Since I first came across Toddlers Can Read last December, this is the first sale I think they've had. So if you have young kids at home or you're a reading tutor, I definitely recommend his course and supplemental materials. I'm planning to get the fairytale sound flashcards for my daughter before the sale ends tonight at midnight CST. Check out the sale here! Best, Sonia...

Hey friend! I have taken a break from working for the most part. I can't believe it's been over a month since I posted a youtube video! Here's what's happening on my end -- We adopted two kittens! We lost a family member unexpectedly, which has been difficult :( Nothing fancy about this email just wanted to break the silence, pop in and say I'm thinking of you! (And if you just joined the email list -- welcome, I support teachers who want to create a flexible business from home!) Best, Sonia
